(Aurora, Ind.) - The Laughery Valley FOP 146 is celebrating another successful year of the Christmas Cops and Kids Program.
Representing Dearborn and Ohio counties, officers and members from these counties shopped with 283 children on December 6 at the Aurora Walmart.
In total, $36,421.38 was spent.
"We would like to recognize the main contributors that supported this program. Special thanks to Dearborn Community Foundation, Ohio County Community Foundation, Professional Pallets, United Way of Cincinnati, Hollywood Casino with their continued support with the donations in the boxes, White Lightning Offroad, United Methodist Church of Aurora, McDonalds and Walmart. We also thank all those individuals and businesses that have donated funds through our Golf Fundraiser and Gun Raffle that the Lodge sponsors," reads a statement from the Laughery Valley FOP 146.
