Kentucky State Police Investigate Fatal Collision in Gallatin County

A three-vehicle accident took place Tuesday on U.S. 42.

(Gallatin County, Ky.) – A Florence woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Gallatin County.

Kentucky State Police responded to the crash on Tuesday along U.S. 42.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2020 Mack dump truck was traveling east when it crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Honda Accord and then a 202 Hyundai Venue.

The Honda left the roadway and struck a tree. The operator, Sarah Bingham, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The accident remains under investigation.
