Investigation found speed to be a factor in the accident

A woman from Jeffersonville, Indiana has been charged in connection with the deadly crash that occurred June 16 on Milton Hill.
The crash claimed the life of David Logan, 39, of Lawrenceburg.
According to KSP’s preliminary investigation, Mary May, 29 was driving with three children, and was traveling at 60 mph in a 35 mph zone when she attempted to pass three other vehicles on the hill before crashing into Logan’s truck,
May along with three children were flown to hospitals with serious injuries.
She has been charged and arrested on one count of reckless homicide, one count of reckless driving, four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and three counts of first-degree assault.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Trimble County for arraignment on August 4.
