Probst is the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Campus.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dr. Matthew B. Probst, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Campus, has been selected by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) to serve on the organization’s Commission on Student Success. Probst’s three-year term with the organization will continue until 2023.
The Commission on Student Success will focus on student access and success, and organizational transformation. They may examine subject areas, including but not limited to the following: degree completion and two-year to four-year transfer. In addition, the commission may focus on initiatives that facilitate the implementation of the 21st-Century Initiative and Implementation Guidelines; showcase cutting-edge innovation with proven outcomes and improve student success; and provide affordable, high-quality technical assistance in areas that support student success.
“It is an honor to be selected as a representative of Ivy Tech Community College to serve on the AACC Commission on Student Success with the goal of increasing degree completion and transferability for community college students.” said Dr. Probst. “I am looking forward to sharing my 20 years of experience in the area of student success with the committee to improve outcomes.”
