The fast-track allows student to complete each in one year, once admitted to the programs.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg Campus has created a program plan that shortens the time frame for completion of both their Practical Nursing (PN) Program and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) transition program, allowing a student to complete each in one year, once admitted to the programs.
- The PN program leads to a technical certificate and eligibility to apply to the Indiana State Board of Nursing to take the NCLEX-PN® licensure examination for Practical Nurses.
- The LPN to ASN transition program leads to a two-year associate of science degree in nursing and eligibility to apply to the Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) to take the NCLEX-RN® licensure examination for Registered Nurses
These selective admission programs accept a limited number of students each year. Prior to admission to the program the student will take pre-requisite general education courses that will be used for admission selection. The time frame for completion of these general education courses will be in addition to the 1-year nursing courses.
The Lawrenceburg campus also offers a two-year Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program.
