(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Career Leadership and Lunch series is sponsored by Student Life and Career Coaching and Employer Connections and will take place over the course of three weeks beginning October 29th. This series will provide students with an opportunity to learn about topics related to career development and leadership-including LinkedIn, conflict resolution, personal strengths, networking, career skills, and resume/cover letter writing all while enjoying a delicious lunch from Beebs & Bubs.

We are also thrilled to include guest speakers from the community to provide attendees with a well-rounded employer perspective in order to give Ivy Tech students an edge on securing rewarding careers. Business partners Mike Perleberg, Director of Marketing & Community with 1Dearborn Economic Development, Missy Cooper, Marketing Director with McDonald’s, and Lauren Mynsberge, Workforce Development with Batesville Tool & Die will be sharing their employer experience with the career and leadership topics.

Sessions will take place in-person at the Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the following dates: Thursday, October 29; Thursday, November 5; and Thursday, November 12.

Registration is required as space is limited to 15 students to allow for social distancing, and facial coverings are mandatory.
