Investigation Underway After Burglary At St. Leon Tavern

The burglary took place sometime late Monday or early Tuesday.

(West Harrison, Ind.) - An investigation is underway after a local business was burglarized. 

St. Leon Town Marshal Bill Wendt tells Eagle Country 99.3 that a safe was taken from St. Leon Tavern sometime late Monday or early Tuesday morning. 

The 95-pound safe contained an undisclosed amount of money. 

A suspect or suspects have not been identified at this time. 

Anyone with information about the burglary should contact the St. Leon Town Marshal at 812-221-0094.
