Interstate Lighting Project Underway in NKY

The project is expected to last through Friday.

(Covington, Ky.) – Lane closures will be in place this week for a lighting upgrade project in northern Kentucky.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the lighting upgrade will take place on a section of Interstate 71/75 in Boone and Kenton counties.

The work will take place during the day and night in the area of U.S. 42 and the I-275 interchange until Friday, March 18.

A left lane closure has been set up in the on the southbound side of the roadway.

Motorists should use extra caution in the work zone.

All work is weather dependent.
