UPDATE: Interstate 74 Reopens Between Sunman, St. Leon

According to the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office, Interstate 74 has reopened. 

 

Original story published Wednesday, December 10 at 9:01 AM:

(St. Leon, Ind.) - A portion Interstate 74 eastbound is currently shut down in Dearborn County. 

According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, I-74 eastbound is closed between the Sunman and St. Leon exits due to a crash. 

All traffic is currently being diverted off of I-74 onto State Road 46 at the 156 mile marker. 

Please use caution in the area and expect to use an alternative route.
