International Fair Trade Sale Returning To Agner Hall

There will be dozens of countries represented by the ministries that the sale has partnered with

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The International Fair Trade Sale (IFTS) is gearing up for its annual sale.

Last year, with COVID-19 numbers on the rise, the volunteer run organization made the call to go on with the sale but required a venue change due to the mandates at the time.

The group scrambled to come up with a back-up plan. Community Fellowship Church graciously stepped up to host the event.

The event was successful despite the pandemic and the last-minute location change, but the IFTS organizers are excited to return to Agner Hall this year.

Mary Nelson, Co-Founder of IFTS Sale says, “Our artisans do not receive stimulus checks nor do they have opportunities for alternative forms of employment. COVID consequences for some of the developing countries we serve are still in destructive mode. Without a customer base, our artisans are struggling to have the bare necessities of life. The International Fair Trade Sale is desperate this year to bring dignity back into the lives of the artisans we have grown to love.”

IFTS features products made by artisans around the world, giving them a chance to earn a fair wage.

There will be dozens of countries represented by the ministries that the sale has partnered with.

This year, the sale will take place Thursday, December 2 and Friday, December 3 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Agner Hall.

This is a great opportunity to give in both directions; buy great gifts for family and friends for the holidays and support artisans around the world.
