(Rising Sun, Ind.) – Ohio County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on State Road 56 early Thursday morning.
It was around 4:30 a.m. when a vehicle driven by Sherry Pruitt, for an unknown reason ran off the roadway near Rising Sun.
Pruitt, 55, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
The incident is being investigated by the Ohio County Coroner’s Office.
