INDOT Statewide Hiring Fair Sept. 17

Winter is only three months away, so INDOT is hiring seasonal workers now.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is looking to do some hiring ahead of snow plowing season.

INDOT says it will host a statewide hiring fair Tuesday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There are 11 locations statewide, including the Aurora Subdistrict headquarters at 8074 U.S. 50.

INDOT needs to hire for more than 100 winter seasonal positions and full-time opportunities. The winter positions will run from November through March.

Starting pay is $16 per hour. INDOT is offering $250 sign-on and $500 retention bonuses for eligible candidates.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.indotjobs.com prior to the September 17 hiring event.
