A portion of SR 48 will be closed for seven days, starting next week.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – Ripley County motorists won’t be able to use a portion of State Road 48 starting next week.
INDOT has contracted Sunesis Construction to complete a box culvert replacement on State Road 48 over Ripley Creek, beginning Monday, October 14. The culvert is located approximately four miles east of State Road 129 and just west of Spades Road.
The work will require State Road 48 to close for seven days between State Road 129 and State Road 101.
Motorists can detour the closure by using State Road 129 to State Road 350 to State Road 101.
All work is weather dependent.
