These scholarships will train and prepare the next generation of civil engineers.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation is offering scholarships to civil engineering students.
Scholarships will be paid up to $3,125 per semester and include paid employment during summer breaks and upon graduation.
Civil engineers play a critical role in creating and maintaining public infrastructure. With Indiana’s $1 billion investment on road projects that came to light last year, it is crucial that the next generation of civil engineers be trained and prepared.
Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full time in one of Indiana’s certified civil engineering schools. December 31, 2019 is the deadline for applicants to submit their application for the 2020-2021 school year.
State Representative Randy Lyness encourages local students to apply for this opportunity to earn a scholarship and receive valuable on-the-job training to prepare them for their career.
