Indiana Unemployment at 3.5 Percent for March

The state's jobless rate remains below the national average.

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana's unemployment rate remained unchanged last month. 

According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the state's jobless rate stands at 3.5 percent. By comparison, the national rate for March stands at 3.8 percent. 

In addition, the state's total labor force stands at 3,380,807, a decrease of 8,595 from the previous month. 

As of April 16, there were 105,593 open job postings throughout the state.
