A female inmate was found unresponsive on Thursday morning and was unable to be revived.

(North Vernon, Ind.) – Indiana State Police – Versailles Post are investigating the death of an inmate at the Jennings County Jail.
Corrections Officers with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office located a female inmate unresponsive in her cell on Thursday morning.
Immediate medical attention was provided to the inmate, Sandra Ray, 35, of North Vernon. However, officers were unable to revive her.
Ray was incarcerated on an Operating While Intoxicated charge after being arrested on May 24. She was housed in a cell by herself and was the only person in her cell at the time of her death.
The results of an autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
