INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Senate Democrats are seeking paid interns for the 2024 legislative session.

The internships are open to students in their sophomore year of college and above, and runs from the last week in December through March.

Benefits include a bi-weekly stipend of $900, networking opportunities, academic credit, and professional development.

Senate Democratic Leader Greg Taylor (D-Indianapolis) released the following statement:

“This is a great opportunity for young Hoosiers looking to get involved in state government and learn more about the legislative process. Many of our interns go on to become staff or use this internship as an ingress into other careers; this is the perfect position for someone hoping for a future in government. "nterns are integral to the success of a legislative session, and I urge students who are interested in understanding more about the legislative process, making connections and doing meaningful work to apply for our internship.”

Applications are officially open and can be found on the Caucus’ official website
