Indiana Gaming Commission Releases January Numbers

Our three local casinos combined handled nearly $9 million in sports bets in January.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - January's Summary of Sports Wagering showed that Indiana casinos saw a total of over $12 million in sports betting revenue. 

According to the Indiana Gaming Commission, Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg handled nearly $8 million with $529,514 million in revenue.

Gamblers placed just over $900,000 in sports bets at Belterra Casino in Switzerland County resulting in $56,619 in revenue in January.

Rising Star Casino has handled about $300,000 in sports bets. Revenues for Rising Star Casino was not released. 

Note that these numbers do not include any sporting events from February.
