(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A candidate for a statewide office will campaign in Lawrenceburg Saturday. Mike Claytor is a Democrat running for Indiana State Auditor. He’ll have coffee with voters at Beebs and Bubs restaurant, 7 West High Street, in downtown Lawrenceburg on July 19 at 9:00 a.m. Claytor is expected to discuss the negative effects of the $2 billion state surplus unveiled this week by State Auditor Suzanne Crouch, a Republican. “Claytor, the father of a special needs kid, will talk about the funding that was taken away from adoptive parents of special needs kids in order to boost the surplus numbers announced this week,” the announcement read.
