(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – An upcoming golf outing will benefit police and fire charities.

The inaugural Police & Fire Golf Tournament will take place Monday, May 24 at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Club in Lawrenceburg. Shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Laughery Valley FOP for Cops and Kids, and Hoosier Burn Camp.

The Cops and Kids program provides necessary items for children at Christmas time, while the Burn Camp provides life-changing experiences for young people who have suffered the physical and emotional trauma associated with a severe burn injury.

Aside from raising funds for good causes, the outing will feature a hole-in-one challenge, silent auction, and breakfast and lunch, provided by Willies Sports Café.

Plus, the winners will take home the HVL Police and Fire Cup.

Cost is $90 for an individual golfer, or $360 for a team of four.

Registration can be paid online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/135987065975.
