(Covington, Ky.) – Motorists will encounter single lane closures on Interstate 75 in northern Kentucky this week.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says traffic control is needed Thursday, July 8 so crews from the Kentucky Transportation Center can safely take core samples on a section of I-75 between the Kenton-Boone County line and Crittenden.
During the work, a right lane closure will be in place on both the northbound and southbound sides of I-75 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should use extra caution while passing through the work zone.
All work is weather permitting.
