Husband Charged After Wife Found Dead at NKY Apartment Complex

(Highland Heights, Ky.) - One person is in custody after a woman was found deceased at an apartment complex in Highland Heights. 

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Grey Stable Lane on Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive person. 

Officers arrived on scene and located a deceased 37-year-old female, later identified as Laura Hern. 

Investigators with the Highland Heights Police Department along with the Special Investigators Response Team are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the victim's death. 

Her husband, Tyler Hern, has been charged with Abuse of a Corpse and has been lodged in the Campbell County Detention Center.
