Human Remains Found in Franklin County

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Franklin County Sheriff's deputies responded to a location in eastern Franklin County last Friday after human skeletal remains were discovered in a rural area.

The Franklin County Coroner was notified and has requested assistance from the University of Indianapolis Human Identification Center Forensic Anthropology Team.

They will aid in examining and identifying the remains.

The investigation is ongoing.

No additional information is being released at this time. Further details will be provided as they become available
