Hoosier Hills Water Will Flush Water Lines This October

Customers of Hoosier Hills Regional Water District are being given advanced notice.

(Milan, Ind.) - Hoosier Hills Regional Water District is giving customers a heads up about some maintenance that may lead to low pressure or discolored water.

In the month of October, the water utility will be flushing its distribution system.

Water lines in Franklin County and parts of Ripley County north of Milan will be flushed in the first two weeks of October. The second two weeks of October, the line flushing will occur in Dearborn County and Ripley County south of Milan.

Customers should avoid doing laundry if they notice low pressure or discolored water conditions, according to HHRWD.
