Hebron Company Closing Operations, Eliminating Hundreds Of Jobs

By Travis Thayer (Hebron, Ky.) – An Atlanta-based third-party fulfillment company is set to lay off hundreds of workers in northern Kentucky. Innotrac Corp. in Hebron has announced they will permanently close their operations while laying off a total of 338 people between now and July 2. In January 2014, Innotrac was bought out by Sterling Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. The company will be eliminating jobs for 100 packers and 86 drivers, along with supervisors, managers and maintenance people. Innotrac primarily fills and ships e-commerce orders to consumers for global companies such as eBay. The company has a total of 10 fulfillment centers and one call center throughout the United States.
