Heavy Police Presence Reported in Ohio County

(Ohio County, Ind.) - Ohio County Communications reported a heavy police presence in the area of New Hope Road and Cass Union Road around 2:00 this afternoon. 

According to Dispatch, a police pursuit started after a wanted individual ran a stop sign. 

The wanted individual reportedly has a warrant out of Dearborn County for a violent sex crime. 

The suspect was last seen on foot in the area of New Hope Road and Cass Union Road. 

Motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
