(Wilmington, Oh.) - More high heat and humidity is expected this week in Eagle Country.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Heat Advisory for the entire tri-state until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Daytime highs are expected to be in the low 90's with heat index values up to 105 possible. The hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat related illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing.

Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
