Head-On Collision Results in Minor Injuries

The accident was reported Saturday along SR 121 in Franklin County.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – Two people suffered minor injuries Saturday in a head-on collision in Franklin County.  

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash in the 12000 block of State Road 121 around 7:11 p.m.

Deputies say Brandi Bryant, of Connersville, was southbound on 121 when she lost control of her vehicle on an ice-covered bridge and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by Christina Persson, of Connersville.

Bryant, 39, was transported to Reid Hospital in Connersville with minor injuries. Persson, 52, also sustained minor injuries and was treated at Decatur County Hospital in Greensburg.

Laurel and Metamora Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene with Franklin County EMS #2 and #3.
