Guardrail Repair To Close Section Of I-74 Tuesday Night

Interstate 74 Eastbound will be closed between Batesville and New Point.

(Batesville, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will divert all I-74 EB traffic to S.R. 46 at Exit 143 (New Point) for guardrail repair work from approximately 7 until 11 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, weather permitting.

The six-mile detour will allow drivers to return to I-74 EB at Exit 149 (Batesville).

Indiana State Police will be on site to assist with traffic. I-74 WB will not be affected.
