Greensburg Police, U.S. Marshals Arrest Wanted Male

(Greensburg, Ind.) - On Thursday at approximately 2:54 P.M., the Greensburg Police Department Tactical Response Team assisted the United States Marshals and Decatur County Sheriff’s Department in the apprehension of a Wanted Person.

This investigation started at approximately 10:00 A.M. There were multiple locations investigated for the whereabouts of suspect Kevin J. Kilgore. Kilgore was a wanted person for numerous outstanding warrants.

Additionally, Kilgore was observed in the community armed with a firearm and had made threats towards Law Enforcement. Law Enforcement located Kilgore at a residence W. Seventh Street in Greensburg where he was apprehended without incident. 

The Greensburg Police Department would like to acknowledge the following agencies for their assistance in the matter:

  • United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force
  • Decatur County Sheriff’s Department 
  • Decatur County Communications 
  • Decatur County EMS
