(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Greendale Middle School students spread some holiday cheer by selling some sweet treats.
This week, GMS Student Council donated $600 to the YES Home.
The funds were raised through selling Nothing Bundt Cakes.
"Your generosity, leadership, and heart for others will make a real difference for our youth this season. Thank you for believing in them and showing what it means to give back to your community," reads a statement from the YES Home.
The YES Home is a residential group home dedicated to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for youth ages 12-20 who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We offer both long-term care and emergency shelter, ensuring that every young person who walks through our doors has the stability and support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
