Greendale Man Dies After Ripley Co. Shooting

(Milan, Ind.) - Indiana State Police are investigating a shooting which left a Greendale man dead Sunday.

 

Emergency personnel responded to a home at 4383 North County Road 225 East, a little west of Milan in Ripley County, after a 911 call was made at 10:09 a.m, according to a state police news release.

 

When they arrived, police found Randy Isaacs, Jr., 52, of Greendale, suffering from a gunshot.

 

Isaacs was rushed to Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville where he later died.

 

Indiana State Police investigators are now trying to determine how Isaacs was shot. Detectives remained on scene all day Sunday.

 

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
