Grant Will Help VIMDOS Clinic Provide Medical Care

The Volunteers in Medicine of Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland Counties are celebrating a grant from the Ohio County Community Foundation.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - On June 14th, The Volunteers in Medicine of Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland Counties Clinic received a grant from the Ohio County Community Foundation as part of their 2018 Fall Awards.

The VIMDOS Board would like to thank the OCCF for selecting our no cost health care clinic as an award recipient. This $3,000 grant will help us provide quality primary care to the uninsured and underinsured residents in our service area by paying for some of our facility needs, patient labs, and equipment.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and never bill for ANY of the healthcare services we provide. As such, we rely on healthcare providers and medical staff to donate their time to the VIMDOS Clinic as well as community donations and grants to fund our day to day operations. We are immeasurably thankful to the volunteers and donors that make our work possible.
