The 132-year-old bridge needs a check-up.

(Aurora, Ind.) – The George Street Bridge in Aurora is going to be undergoing an inspection Thursday, May 16.
The Dearborn County Highway Department says the 132-year-old bridge will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The George Street Bridge is a Whipple truss bridge built by the Lomas Forge & Bridge Works in 1887. One of the oldest iron bridges in Indiana, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
