(Hebron, Ky.) - Frontier Airlines is adding more flights from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport.
The low-fare airline will launch a second daily nonstop flight to its hub at Denver International Airport in May.
When fully implemented, the new expanded schedule will offer two flights a day on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and one flight a day on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Frontier will go from offering six weekly flights to eight in May, 10 weekly flights in June and July, then 11 weekly flights starting in August.
Frontier has quickly ramped up its flight offerings out of CVG since moving into the region seven months ago, filling at least 90-percent of its available seats.
“The addition of a second flight four days a week to Denver combined with the previously announced new service to New Jersey speaks to the strong response Frontier has received by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community” CVG CEO Candace S. McGraw said in a statement.
Once in Denver, Frontier Airlines fliers can connect to 19 more destinations.
