Front Line Appreciation Group Donates To Local Healthcare Workers

As of Tuesday, April 7, the group has raised a total of $1,533.

(Dearborn Co., Ind.) -  In the middle of trying times, community members have come together to take care of those who are taking care of us.

One of these groups is the Front Line Appreciation Group (FLAG) for Highpoint Health

FLAG for Highpoint Health has brought the community together to be able to donate meals to healthcare workers at Highpoint Health and others throughout Dearborn County.

Additionally, the group is working to support local businesses by purchasing gift cards to provide these meals.

Some of the businesses who have become involved include Comb's Pizza, Plug's Sweet Tooth, and Janet's Diner.

To be sure all donations are being used properly, donations are being collected via Venmo by searching @Stastine.

As of Tuesday, April 7, the group has raised a total of $1,533.

To continue to make this initiative a success, the group is asking to share the word.

"We are asking that you share this initiative with your peers and community members. We are all searching for ways to help during this time of uncertainty. By sharing this information, you are allowing others to share their giving hearts for our brave healthcare workers!"
