Friendship Volunteer Fire Responds to Medical Emergency

The incident took place Tuesday night.

(Friendship, Ind.) – Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a medical emergency on Tuesday night.

According to a news release, the medical emergency evolved into a medical evacuation and air care was called to the scene just before 9:00 p.m.

One individual was transported to UC Medical Center for treatment.

The person’s identity and status were not reported.

Ripley County EMS assisted at the scene.
