(Versailles, Ind.) – A longtime member of the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department has been honored for his many years of dedication.
Glen Kamman has been a part of the department for 60 years.
He got his start around the age of 14 when he responded to grass fires with his father.
Glen continues to help in any way he can, often working fundraising events for the department.
He was recently presented with a custom lamp that was made from the helmet he wore when he retired from active duty.
The lamp was gifted by Chief Tim Huntington.
