Friendship State Bank Awards Grants to Two Local Businesses

The recipients were selected via a blind draw following nominations from branch managers.

(Aurora, Ind.) - It is the giving season. 

On Monday, the Friendship State Bank awarded two Elevate Small Business Grants through Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. 

The $10,000 grants went to Hankering Southern Kitchen in Aurora and Madison Auto. 

Hankering Southern Kitchen will use the funding for kitchen updates, while Madison Auto will purchase a new lift in the service area. 

According to the Friendship State Bank, the selection process was community-driven and fair, with each of their nine branch managers nominating two businesses. The recipients were chosen through a blind draw.
