Freeze Warning Issued For Much Of The Tri-State Area

(Wilmington, Oh.) – Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing overnight.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning from midnight tonight to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees is expected.

The Freeze Warning is for the following counties:

  • Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland in Indiana
  • Carroll, Gallatin, Boone, Kenton in Kentucky
  • Hamilton in Ohio

Residents in these counties should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes, they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
