Free Trees Available For Aurora, Lawrenceburg Residents

Trees must be claimed using an online portal.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Free trees are available for Aurora and Lawrenceburg residents.

Taking Root is providing a limited number of free trees, including ‘Fall Fiesta’ Sugar Maple, Eastern Redbud, Swamp White Oak, Dawn Redwood, ‘Royal Raindrops’ Crabapple, and Blackgum.

Aurora and Lawrenceburg residents may claim trees by visiting Tree for Me - OKI Regional Council of Governments.

After clicking on the link, find Aurora/Lawrenceburg on the Active Tree Distribution page.

Trees will come in five-gallon containers and will be approximately five feet tall.

Pickup is scheduled for Saturday, October 9 between 10:00 a.m. and noon at the Aurora Recreation Community Center.
