Free Fishing Day At Indiana State Parks This Weekend

Free Fishing Days are a great opportunity for a family outing.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – If you need weekend plans, you might schedule a trip to your local state park.

The Indiana DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife is hosting the first Free Fishing Day of the year on Saturday, April 20.

On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents can fish public waters without a fishing license or a salmon/trout stamp.

Children 17 and younger do not need a license to fish on any day, making Free Fish Days a prime time for a family outing.

The final Free Fish Fishing Days of 2019 happen on May 18 and June 1-2.
