(Brookville, Ind.) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after an alleged threat was made at Franklin County High School.
Sheriff Peter Cates says his office received a tip on Wednesday morning about the alleged threat.
In response, deputies are investigation and there will be an increased law enforcement presence at Franklin County High School.
“We take all threats seriously and our deputies are working with school officials to conduct a thorough investigation,” said Sheriff Cates. “We would like to commend the person or person who came forward and reported the alleged threat to the school officials.”
