Franklin Co. Candidate Filing for School Board Begins May 21

June 20 is the deadline to file.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - Neysa R. Raible, Franklin Circuit Court Clerk, advises that Tuesday, May 21, 2024 is the first day that an individual may file (CAN-34) a petition of nomination and consent for a school board member must be filed along with (CAN-12) statement of economic interest.

Thursday, June 20, 2024, by NOON, is the deadline to file a petition of nomination with the county election board as a school board member at the general election. MUSH be accompanied by a State of Economic Interest (CAN-12)

The following School Board Offices will be on the General ballot:

FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION:

District 1 – One member (running district includes Laurel, Metamora, Posey, and the part of Salt Creek contained in the Franklin County Community School Corporation)

District 2 – One member (running district includes Blooming Grove, Fairfield, and Brookville 4 &5)

District 3 – One member (running district includes Brookville 1, 2 & 3, Highland 1, and the part of Butler contained in the Franklin County Community School Cooperation)

District 4 – One member (running district includes Highland 2, Springfield & Whitewater 1 & 2)

UNION COUNTY/COLLEGE CORNER JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT (file in Union County):

Harrison Township - Bath Township

Center Township – Bath Township

Harmony Township – Bath Township

BATESVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION (file in Ripley County):

District 3 – Two members (running district includes City of Batesville
