Four Extricated After Two-Vehicle Crash In Versailles

The accident happened Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Michigan Road.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Five people were injured in an accident in Ripley County on Wednesday.

Versailles Fire Rescue responded to the two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Michigan Road.

Four passengers were extricated from the vehicles. All four were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

One person was treated and released at the scene.

The names and conditions of those involved were not released.

Versailles Fire Rescue was assisted at the scene by Holton VFD, Indiana State Police, Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Ripley County EMS, Jennings County EMS, Sunman Rescue 20, Air Methods, Stat Flight and IU Med Air Evac.
