Former Lawrenceburg Mayor, Police Chief Passes Away

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Former City of Lawrenceburg Mayor Don Combs has passed away.

Combs died on Christmas Day at the age of 78.

He served as Lawrenceburg Mayor from 1992 to 1996, following his retirement from the Lawrenceburg Police Department where he served as Chief of Police.

Combs is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Phyllis, four children, 10 grandchildren, and seven grand-children.  

Visitation for Combs will take place Monday, January 3 at 11:00 AM at Stratton Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles .Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM.
