(Ohio County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O'Mara Contractors, Inc. plans to begin flagging operations on State Road 56 between Bellview Lane and Thuermer Hollow Road on or after Monday, November 4, to complete tree management work in Ohio County.

Tree work is expected to take place through late November, weather permitting.

This work is part of a $2.7 million contract awarded to Dave O'Mara in September 2024.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
