(Sunman, Ind.) – Community members interested in helping hurricane victims in North Carolina and eastern Tennessee can do so in Sunman.
First Southern Baptist Church will be collecting various items on the following dates and times beginning October 29.
- Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon and/or 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Fridays from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The church’s contact in Ashville says that coats, hats, hoodies, and other winter gear is at the top of their list of needs.
A full list of items needed is listed below.
- Clothing items (all ages), quilts, blankets, sheets, pillows, pillow cases, toiletry items, coats, socks, beanie hats, small propane tanks, non-perishable foods, insulin, EpiPens, nebulizers, Benadryl, first aid items, camping supplies, butane lighters, insect repellants, sweat gear and hoodies.

First Southern Baptist Church plans to transport a trailer of items November 30.
