No injuries were reported after an initial report that a child was possibly in the home.

(Bright, Ind.) - Firefighters responded to a house fire in Bright on Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out just after 11:00 a.m. at a home on Benedic Lane.
According to the Bright Volunteer Fire Department, there was nobody inside the home. Initial reports suggested that a juvenile was trapped in the home. Bright Fire tells Eagle Country 99.3 they were able to verify the child was away from the home at the time of the fire.
However, a deceased pet was located.
The fire originated in the garage and spread to the home, but was contained to the kitchen area. Bright Fire considers the home a partial loss.
In total, firefighters were on the scene for approximately three hours.
Greendale Fire and Harrison Fire were among local agencies to assist at the scene.
