Female Biker Hurt In Crash

(Napoleon, Ind.) – A Milan woman was hospitalized after wrecking her motorcycle Monday afternoon.

 

Judith M. Schalk, 48, was riding her 1980 Harley Davidson on west on State Road 48 east of Napoleon at about 4:45.  She lost control of the motorcycle as she came into a curve and ran off the left side of the roadway, ending up in a ditch.

 

Schalk was wearing a helmet. She suffered injuries to her face and head according to Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies.

 

Batesville EMS 10 transported Schalk to Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville for treatment of the non-life threatening injuries. 

 

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted at the scene by Napoleon Fire Department, Batesville Fire, and Ripley County Medic.
